Here is the updated calendar with all of the changes:
Oscar ballot deadline has been extended from January 12th to January 14.
WGA nominations have been pushed to January 13th.
Producers Guild pushed to January 13.
Critics Choice Awards have been delayed from January 12th to January 26th.
The BAFTA tea has been canceled.
The ASC will delay until January 13.
I will update this list if I hear of anything else.
If I was in charge of awards season I would turn it into a giant fundraiser for the victims of the fire — the displaced and burned animals, etc. That’s how I would transform this moment from a black hole of narcissism to a public good. What’s the worst that could happen?
