The International Film Music Critics Association (IFMCA) has revealed their awards nominations for the 2018 film year. Best Original Score nominees “Mary Poppins Returns” and “Black Panther” have been nominated for the IFMCA Film Score of the Year award, and Oscar nominee Nicholas Britell received an individual nomination for Film Composer of the Year. James Newton Howard leads the this year’s field with four nominations, while “First Man” received two nods for Best Original Score (Drama) and Film Music Composition of the Year (“The Landing”).
