I think word on the street was that The Mule wasn’t an Oscar contender. Yeah, not buying it. If it looks like an Oscar contender, walks like an Oscar contender, talks like an Oscar contender, it’s an Oscar contender. I appreciate their attempt to avoid the dog and pony show of the season but a movie like this, released in December 14? It’s a film to strongly consider for year end award consideration.
